Lydia's Book - Entry One

Dear all
Thanks to Angela for uploading the start of my book. I have been using an interactive white board in my classroom to explore all kinds of stuff with my 4/5 year old students. I have been dying to make some of my own work with it, so decided to use this as a good excuse to spend a few hours playing. My theme is to choose a letter, randomly select words that begin with that letter, and then continue the story by illustrating a sentence compiled with the words. It is inspired by my phonic lessons with the children and a picture book that Angela lent me (what is it called again Angela?). I hope you enjoy the challenge!

Angela's Book - Entry One

I wasn't too happy with the first (or second) attempt, so I kept adding work. Hence the theme "Beginnings".  So, the next participants have choices on where to add their artwork, or they could start from multiple points, sort of like a "choose your own adventure" book.  ;)  Feel free to contribute more than one work of art. There should be plenty of space since it could be front and back as well.
A detail of the page I consider most likely to be my real beginning (first entry).
The front cover on the left and one of the three "beginnings" on the far right.

Welcome and please introduce yourself!

The ECISketcher blog is a good way to communicate with the whole group, to see the progress of books that we wouldn't otherwise see until the very end and to just have a public place to show off our creative efforts.  Please take a second to add a "shout out" to the group and then post a photograph of your first of many entries.  Thanks to you all for playing!
