Lydia's Book - Entry One

Dear all
Thanks to Angela for uploading the start of my book. I have been using an interactive white board in my classroom to explore all kinds of stuff with my 4/5 year old students. I have been dying to make some of my own work with it, so decided to use this as a good excuse to spend a few hours playing. My theme is to choose a letter, randomly select words that begin with that letter, and then continue the story by illustrating a sentence compiled with the words. It is inspired by my phonic lessons with the children and a picture book that Angela lent me (what is it called again Angela?). I hope you enjoy the challenge!

The book that Lydia mentions is by an artist named Souther Salazar http://www.facebook.com/pages/Souther-Salazar/32724086671

The book is called "Destined for Dizziness". He has sold out of it on his Etsy website, but I found some on amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Destined-Dizziness-Souther-Salazar/dp/0976684810

In the link below he says some decent stuff about his creative process as well as the benefit of art college, you might find useful to pass on to older students.
