Opening Stacy's book is a nice surprise, and drawing in it can be quite challenging. I'm not going to give away the secret just yet, but at some point someone will have to ;)
I love the sea, I grew up right next to it. Now, living in Switzerland, I miss it a lot. I am constantly surrounded by Japanese tattoos, and while fantasizing about my next entry, I could not help but go for the "obvious". The sea motive is widely used in Japanese tattoo style. One of the great masters in drawing the sea in oriental art is Hokusai. I did not want to use his most famous wave, just because it is too famous. I looked into some of his earlier drawings, and this is what came out.

Hello everyone. I just received 2 books from Ana. One had been returned as it arrived during my spring break. Anyway all of that to say. There are so beautiful and inspiring. I will try to post photos after I have made an entry. I am new to this blog thing and so have not been adding material regularly.
