Lydia's Entry in Angela's Book

Angela's Fairy Tale Theme got me thinking about a special story told in my family. My siblings and I remember sitting on my Grandpa's knee listening intently to the tale (which we think he created but no one seems certain of where is came from). My dad has continued the story telling with his grandchildren and my brother has rewritten it as a children's interactive play for his educational theatre company. I have always been keen to illustrate it as a book, so this page has set the ball rolling and given me some impetus to start playing with ideas. Giant Boogle is a friendly giant who rescues some children who find themselves lost in the forest. I have modelled the character on a mixture between my Grandpa and my Dad. For the forest I used a very simple pattern making computer programme that my Pre-School class have been playing with recently.
